Puma All-Pro NITRO™ 2 Chris Brickley 'Canvas'

Since February 2019, Chris Brickley has served as brand ambassador for PUMA. Beyond simply rocking its gear, the New York City-based trainer for top NBA and WNBA talent lives the Big Cat. As such, he's received his own Player-Exclusive (PE) pairs from the brand's performance lineup, which now includes the All-Pro Nitro 2 "Empire Legacy" collaboration.

Revealed in person at the legendary Summit courts in New York City through a special training session with Knick Tyler Kolek, the All-Pro NITRO™ 2 "Empire Legacy" is packed to the brim with storytelling, starting with its purpose for on and off-court wear. Perforated leather makes up the bulk of the upper, while furry suede accents land along and on the tongue, harking back to the original Puma Suede and the PUMA Clyde — basketball's first PE. A varsity jacket patch of 1948, lands on the medial heel, nodding to the year in which PUMA was founded.

Brickley goes on to state that the pair ushers in workboot-inspired laces that honor New York's long-standing fascination with the Tiumberland. But it's more than just aesthetics; the insoles of the design read a Deli menu from which Brickley lived on during his early coaching days, while the packaging showcases his home's skyline view of the Empire State Building, depicting a rise from struggle to success that we can all aspire to.
